The Physicare - Rehabilitation Development & Disability Independence Program works with families, carers and professionals to understand the needs of people with a disability including people with complex concerns and acquired injuries.
It is a specialist private health service which provides multidisciplinary, diagnostic assessment and intervention with a focus on Physiotherapy. By using a person centred approach, the program empowers people, parents and carers to gain a deeper understanding of their developmental strengths and difficulties and strategies to support them.
We are a Professional Multidisciplinary Service that’s proud to offer our services to clients throughout Brisbane and surrounding areas of Queensland. Great service begins and ends with experienced and friendly professionals, which is why we put so much consideration into selecting the best people to join our team. Specialist consultation services are provided at our clinics for children and young people with specific developmental disorders, cerebral palsy, acquired brain injury, autism, rare conditions and developmental disorders, comorbid medical conditions and disabilities
The multidisciplinary team assists families to make informed choices about setting developmental independence, education and community participation goals for their child or young person to support their best-possible developmental outcomes and participation in education and daily life.
Outreach and Rural, Childcare or School visits are available. Allied Heath second-opinion consultations are available upon request across Queensland.

CONDUCTIVE SEQUENCE EDUCATION
An innovative evidence based therapy programme for children with brain injury/cerebral palsy and now applied to children with autism. An example of how our service has evolved to the high standard we currently hold ourselves to. It really highlighted our collective work ethic, and the adjustments we can make in order to accommodate a client. Nothing is too much for us to handle, or too small to push aside.

Consultations are by appointment only. Referrals to the service are accepted from Individuals, Family Members, Allied Health Practitioners, GPs, Hospital and Private consultants.

MEDICARE Referrals can be made for a limited number of item services for chronic conditions, mental health plan requirements: a GP, or another medical specialist. The referring practitioner must provide information about the presenting developmental concerns and ensure pre-referral guideline criteria as required by Medicare are addressed.
